BioReg Services („BioReg“ or „we“) provides regulatory affairs consultancy for the healthcare companies and entrepreneurs around the world (the “Services”). We also manage the website www.bioregservices.com,  (the “Site“).

This privacy policy (“Policy”) describes how the personally identifiable information (“Personal Data“) you may provide on our website is collected, protected and used. By accessing and using the Site and Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Policy. This Policy does not apply to the practices of companies that we do not own or control, or to individuals that we do not employ or manage. It applies whenever you visit, interact with us or otherwise access our Site, retain or use any of our Services.

Collecting Personal Data

We collect the following Personal Data:

Data automatically collected: When you open the Site, our servers automatically record information that your browser sends. This data may include information such as your device’s IP address, browser type and version, operating system type and version, language preferences or the webpage you were visiting before you came to the Website and Services, pages of the Website and Services that you visit, the time spent on those pages, information you search for on the Website, access times and dates, and other statistics. We do not use such data to learn about a person’s true identity or contact details, and it mostly serves us to better understand how people typically use and engage with our Services and to improve our marketing campaigns and engagements, as well as the overall performance of our Services.

Data received from you: You can access and use the Website and Services without telling us who you are or revealing any information by which someone could identify you as a specific, identifiable individual. If, however, you wish to use some of the features on the Website, you may be asked to provide certain Personal Information (for example, your name and e-mail address). We receive and store any information you knowingly provide to us when you subscribe to our newsletter, or fill any online forms on the Website. When required, this information may include the following:

  • Personal details such as name, country of residence, etc.
  • Contact information such as email address, address, etc.
  • Geolocation data such as latitude and longitude.
  • Payment data We may collect data necessary to process your payment if you make purchases, such as your payment instrument number (such as a credit card number), and the security code associated with your payment instrument.   • Any other materials you willingly submit to us such as articles, images, feedback, etc.

You may also provide us additional details concerning your organization (our client), such as billing details, business needs and preferences, as well as data collected in relation to patent applications, including inventor identity and contact information, date of birth and address. To the extent that such data concerns a non-human entity, we do not regard it as “Personal Data” and this Policy shall not apply to it.

Data received from third parties: we may receive your contact and professional details (e.g., your name, company, position, contact details and professional experience, preferences and interests) from our business partners, clients or services providers, and through the use of tools and channels commonly used for connecting between companies and individuals in order to explore potential business and employment opportunities, such as LinkedIn, IVC and other business directories.

Non-personal (anonymous) Data: such Non-personal Data does not and may not relate or refer to any specific individual, and we therefore do not regard it as “Personal Data” and may use it without restriction, for example to aggregate data for industry benchmarks or comparative performance metrics, that we might publish from time to time.

 

Using Your Personal Data

We may need to collect and use certain Personal Data. If you do not provide the information that we request, we may not be able to provide you with the requested products or services.

Any of the information we collect from you may be used for the following purposes:

  • Fulfill and manage orders

  • Send marketing and promotional communications

Data Location and Retention

Personal Data which is subject to this Privacy Policy may be maintained, processed, accessed and stored by BioReg and our authorized affiliates, Service Providers and business partners in and from various locations around the world, including Israel and the EU, as necessary for the proper facilitation, offering and delivery of our Services, or as may be required by law.

BioReg is headquartered in Israel, which is considered by the European Commission to be offering an adequate level of protection for the Personal Data of EU Member State residents.

While privacy laws may vary between jurisdictions, BioReg is committed to protect Personal Data in accordance with this Policy and industry standards, regardless of any lesser legal requirements that may apply in their jurisdiction.

We retain Personal Data as instructed or authorized by our client or as otherwise may be required by law, and in accordance with our data retention policy, such as to reasonably establish, preserve and expand our mutual relationship.

We will also retain your Personal Data for as long as is required in order to comply with our legal and contractual obligations, or to protect ourselves from any potential disputes (i.e. as required by laws applicable to log-keeping, records and bookkeeping, and to have proof and evidence concerning our relationship, should any legal issues arise following your discontinuance of use), in accordance with our data retention policy.

Data Sharing

Depending on the requested Services or as necessary to complete any transaction or provide any service you have requested, we may share your information with your consent with our trusted third parties that work with us, any other affiliates and subsidiaries we rely upon to assist in the operation of the Site and Services available to you. We do not share Personal Data with unaffiliated third parties. These service providers are not authorized to use or disclose your information except as necessary to perform services on our behalf or comply with legal requirements. We may share your Personal Data for these purposes only with third parties whose privacy policies are consistent with ours or who agree to abide by our policies with respect to Personal Data. These third parties are given Personal Data they need only in order to perform their designated functions, and we do not authorize them to use or disclose Personal Data for their own marketing or other purposes. We will disclose any Personal Data we collect, use or receive if required or permitted by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process, and when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request. In the event we go through a business transition, such as a merger or acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your user account, and Personal Information will likely be among the assets transferred.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

BioReg and some of our Service Providers utilize “cookies”, anonymous identifiers and other tracking technologies which help us provide and improve our Services, personalize your experience, monitor the performance of our activities and campaigns, and enhance the stability, security and functionality of our Services. The Site and Services use “cookies” to help personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.

In order for some of these technologies to work properly, a small data file (“cookie”) must be downloaded and stored on your device. Some cookies and other technologies serve to recall Personal Data, such as an IP address, and are used for purposes of session and user authentication, security, keeping the user’s preferences, connection stability, monitoring performance and generally providing and improving our Services. Communications

Service Communications: We may contact you with important information regarding our Services. For example, we may notify you (through any of the means available to us) of changes or updates to our Services, billing issues, service changes, etc. We may also send you notifications, messages and other updates. Typically, you will not be able to opt-out of receiving such service communications while using our Services, as they are integral to such use.

Notifications and Promotional Communications: We may also contact you with promotional messages (such as newsletters, event invitations, etc.) or any other information we think you will find valuable. Such Policies may be provided through our newsletters or any of the contact means available to us (e.g. phone, mobile or e-mail), through the Services, or through our marketing campaigns on any other sites or platforms.

If you wish not to receive such promotional communications, you may notify BioReg at any time by e-mailing us or by following the “unsubscribe”, “stop” or “change e-mail preferences” instructions contained in the promotional communications you receive.

Data Security

We are committed to securing your Personal Data, and use various security measures to better protect it. These include industry-standard physical, procedural and electronic security measures, as well as encryption tools and methods where deemed appropriate. However, please be aware that regardless of the security measures used, we cannot and do not guarantee the absolute protection and security of any Personal Data stored with us or with any third parties.

Data Breach

In the event we become aware that the security of the Site and Services has been compromised or users Personal Data has been disclosed to unrelated third parties as a result of external activity, including, but not limited to, security attacks or fraud, we reserve the right to take reasonably appropriate measures, including, but not limited to, investigation and reporting, as well as notification to and cooperation with law enforcement authorities. In the event of a data breach, we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected individuals if we believe that there is a reasonable risk of harm to the user as a result of the breach or if notice is otherwise required by law. When we do, we will post a notice on the Website.

Data Subject Rights

You may exercise certain rights regarding your information processed by us. In particular, you have the right to do the following: (i) you have the right to withdraw consent where you have previously given your consent to the processing of your information; (ii) you have the right to object to the processing of your information if the processing is carried out on a legal basis other than consent; (iii) you have the right to learn if information is being processed by us, obtain disclosure regarding certain aspects of the processing and obtain a copy of the information undergoing processing; (iv) you have the right to verify the accuracy of your information and ask for it to be updated or corrected; (v) you have the right, under certain circumstances, to restrict the processing of your information, in which case, we will not process your information for any purpose other than storing it; (vi) you have the right, under certain circumstances, to obtain the erasure of your Personal Information from us; (vii) you have the right to receive your information in a structured, commonly used and machine readable format and, if technically feasible, to have it transmitted to another controller without any hindrance. This provision is applicable provided that your information is processed by automated means and that the processing is based on your consent, on a contract which you are part of or on pre-contractual obligations thereof.

Please also note that we may require additional information and documents, including certain Personal Data, in order to authenticate and validate your identity and to process your request. Such additional data will then be retained by us for legal purposes (e.g. so we have proof of the identity of the person submitting the request).

Additional Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Policy or its terms relating to the Website and Services from time to time in our discretion and will notify you of any material changes to the way in which we treat Personal Data. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page. We may also provide notice to you in other ways in our discretion, such as through contact information you have provided. Any updated version of this Policy will be effective immediately upon the posting of the revised Policy unless otherwise specified. Your continued use of the Website and Services after the effective date of the revised Policy (or such other act specified at that time) will constitute your consent to those changes. However, we will not, without your consent, use your Personal Data in a manner materially different than what was stated at the time your Personal Data was collected.

Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect any Personal Information from children under the age of 18. If you are under the age of 18, please do not submit any Personal Data  through the Site and Services. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s Internet usage and to help enforce this Policy by instructing their children never to provide Personal Data through the Site and Services without their permission. If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 18 has provided Personal Data to us through the Site and Services, please contact us. You must also be at least 16 years of age to consent to the processing of your Personal Data in your country (in some countries we may allow your parent or guardian to do so on your behalf).

Acceptance of This Policy

You acknowledge that you have read this Policy and agree to all its terms and conditions. By accessing and using the Website and Services you agree to be bound by this Policy.
