Jelena Marković Popović is a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) with more than 20 years of experience in legal affairs, regulatory analysis, writing regulations, library management, cataloging, archiving, digitization, copyrighting, public procurements, literature search, writing protocols, and clinical evaluation reports in an international environment.
Jelena worked for 15 years at the National Library of Serbia, where she performed demanding professional legal tasks, including editorship of the national library information system with shared cataloging, editorship of the bibliography of official state publications, providing training for data entry in library databases, and supervision of library databases.
Jelena specialized in writing literature protocols and reports for the MDR Clinical Evaluation, EUDAMED database entries, helping manufacturers to draft or update working agreements with their Economic Operators – Importers & Distributors following MDR expectations, and advising on working contracts between manufacturers and Persons Responsible for the Regulatory Compliance (PRRC) to meet MDR provisions.
Jelena has two published bibliographies, three published papers in cataloging, and four published translations of International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) documents.
